I tried Keto Diet as a liquid drop supplement for weight control because I wanted a simpler routine and a bit less late-afternoon snacking. I used it alongside a lower-carbohydrate eating plan, so I was looking for support rather than a stand-alone fix.

The bottle was small, just 30 ml, and I took one full dropperful twice a day for six weeks. I used it before breakfast and again before my evening meal, and I usually mixed it into a small glass of water because the herbal taste was sharp and lingered for a minute.

How it fit into my day

I kept my food fairly low in carbohydrates while I was using it. Breakfast was usually eggs or yoghurt, lunch was leftovers or a salad with chicken, and dinner was meat, fish, tofu, or vegetables with a fatty sauce. I did not expect the drops on their own to create ketosis or erase a biscuit-heavy afternoon. For me, they only made sense when the rest of the day matched the plan.

The first week did very little. I felt thirstier than usual, and I had a dull headache on the second and third day. I put that down more to cutting back bread and sugary snacks than to the drops themselves, and extra water plus a little salt with meals helped me through it.

By the end of week two, I noticed a real shift in appetite. I was still hungry at lunch, but I stopped hovering around the kitchen at about four in the afternoon. That was the first point where Keto Diet felt genuinely useful to me. It did not remove hunger, but it made ordinary hunger feel less noisy.

By week three, I had lost a small amount of weight. The change was modest. I did not see a dramatic difference in the mirror, and my clothes did not suddenly fit differently. What I did notice was less evening bloating and steadier energy after lunch on the days when I kept carbohydrates low.

What I liked and what annoyed me

The best part was the routine. Taking the drops before meals made me pause and think about what I was about to eat, and that small break probably helped me stay on track. I also liked that the bottle was compact and did not take over my kitchen cupboard.

It was not all easy. The dropper got a bit messy near the end, and I had to wipe a thin ring of liquid from the neck of the bottle. The taste was also a drawback. It was manageable in water, but I would not want it straight. I also forgot the morning serving more than once when I was rushing out.

  • My mouth felt dry during the first ten days, even when I was drinking plenty.
  • I felt slightly queasy twice when I took it on an empty stomach and delayed breakfast.
  • I had no help with sweet cravings after dinner.
  • I did not get a sudden energy boost or any dramatic body change.

I also had one takeaway meal in week four and felt puffy and thirsty the next morning. That reminded me that Keto Diet did not override food choices or stress eating. It seemed to take the edge off ordinary hunger, but it did not stop me wanting food when I was tired or under pressure.

In my experience, the drops suited me as a prompt to stick with a lower-carbohydrate routine. They would probably suit someone who already likes simple meals built around protein, fats, and vegetables and wants a small habit before eating. They would frustrate anyone hoping for results without changing what they eat.

I would skip Keto Diet if I disliked liquid supplements, had a history of disordered eating, or found strict food rules stressful. I would also be careful with any ketogenic or weight-control supplement if I were pregnant, breastfeeding, or dealing with diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease, or medication that affects blood sugar or blood pressure. That is the point where I would want professional advice first.

My verdict: I would buy it again only for a short reset when I was already committed to eating lower in carbohydrates. I would not rely on it long term, and I would not expect it to do the work of regular meals, sleep, and movement.
