I took Idealfit as a dietary supplement in capsule form when I was returning to regular meals and exercise, and I wanted to reduce evening snacking. I was mainly expecting less craving for sweets and a bit more energy in the afternoons.

I took two capsules a day, one after breakfast and the other after lunch, always with a glass of water. The packaging lasted me almost exactly a month with this routine. I tried a few times to push the second capsule to around four o’clock, and then I had trouble falling asleep at night, so I eventually took it no later than around two.

The capsules weren’t large, but I wouldn’t want to swallow them dry. They had a slightly herbal scent, and occasionally left a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. It wasn’t anything dramatic; I just had to get used to it. The bottle also rattled quite a bit in my bag, so I left it at home next to the kettle and dosed it during my morning tea.

Based on the ingredients, I was mainly expecting a boost, as it contained guarana and green tea extract. I also had berberine, spirulina, prickly pear, L-carnitine, and chromium picolinate. I didn’t focus on the individual substances too much; I was more interested in whether the whole thing would work for me in a regular day.

In the first week, almost nothing happened. My weight didn’t change, my pants fit the same, and I still had to be careful about my cravings for sweets. I just had a slightly sharper feeling of alertness in the morning, and after lunch, I reached for coffee less often. It wasn’t a burst of energy. More like a quiet, mild boost.

By the second week, it started to feel more practical. When I had a normal protein breakfast, I could last until lunch without snacking. Previously, I often opened cookies around eleven just because I was tired or bored. With Idealfit, I didn’t completely eliminate this habit, but I stopped a few times earlier, which was the biggest change for me.

By the third week, I added brisk walking four times a week and started preparing meals for the next day in the evening. Only then did my weight start to drop, but I don’t see that as solely the capsules’ doing. I was eating fewer sweets, moving more, and sleeping more regularly. Idealfit may have made it easier for me to start because I wasn’t as sluggish, but it didn’t burn fat for me.

I didn’t see any quick changes in my belly. Even after four weeks, I didn’t feel like my hunger had disappeared or that my metabolism had kicked into high gear. When I poured myself a glass of wine in the evening and started a series, the craving for salty snacks came just as reliably as before. The capsules didn’t fix my irregular sleep either. When I went to bed late, I was tired the next day regardless of what I took in the morning.

What I didn’t like about it

  • When I took the second capsule late, I felt restless in the evening and had trouble falling asleep.
  • In the first few days, I had a slight dry mouth after taking the capsule, so I drank more.
  • Once, after taking it on an empty stomach, I felt unwell, so I only took them after meals.
  • On the weekend, I forgot my dose twice because I didn’t have my regular morning routine.

I wouldn’t recommend Idealfit to someone expecting rapid weight loss without changing their diet. In that situation, I would be disappointed. I see it more as a supplement for someone who already has at least a basic plan: to walk a bit more, watch portion sizes, and not turn every evening into a feast. It mainly helped me with afternoon fatigue and reduced my frequent need to snack.

I would avoid it if someone has a low tolerance for stimulants, experiences heart palpitations, or has high blood pressure. Due to the guarana, I wouldn’t take it in the evening either. Anyone regularly taking medication or dealing with long-term health issues should first check its suitability with a doctor or pharmacist.

I would buy Idealfit again only during a time when I needed a boost to return to a routine after a long break. I personally wouldn’t take it long-term because I don’t want to be dependent on capsules to keep me going during the day. It worked for me as a small crutch, not as a solution.

My brief evaluation: Idealfit helped me a bit to tame afternoon fatigue and cravings, but the results mainly came from my diet and exercise.
