Blutforde is a dietary supplement designed to support heart and circulation in soft capsule form. I tried it when my blood pressure readings fluctuated during stressful weeks, and I wanted to add something simple to my measurements. I hoped the morning and evening readings would become more consistent.

The bottle contained 20 soft capsules, and the ingredients seemed quite understandable to me. Inside were inulin, garlic extract, clove extract, pumpkin seed extract, and black cohosh extract. I liked that the list of ingredients wasn’t very long. It didn’t give the impression that I was experimenting with ten different things at once.

How I took it

I took one soft capsule a day after breakfast. I didn’t try it on an empty stomach because garlic extract and inulin can kickstart my digestion quite quickly. I kept the bottle next to the coffee machine; otherwise, I would have definitely forgotten to take the capsule on some busy mornings. Swallowing was easy, although the capsule was a bit larger than I expected.

I took all measurements quite disciplined at the same time. I usually checked my blood pressure in the morning before coffee and in the evening after a ten-minute calm sit. This was important for me because one random reading doesn’t mean much. I used Blutforde for a total of eight weeks.

What changed for me

In the first week, I didn’t notice anything. No more energy, no calmer feeling, and no clear change in measurements. Honestly, it was a bit disappointing, but I wasn’t expecting a miracle right away.

In the second week, the evening readings seemed a little less erratic, but a couple of stressful workdays pushed them back up again. Therefore, I couldn’t attribute this solely to the capsules. By the third week, however, I started to feel that the pressure in my head after work was occurring less frequently. It didn’t disappear completely, but it was just less noticeable and usually passed after a walk and dinner.

There were also fewer large differences between consecutive measurements in my blood pressure diary. My average reading dropped a little. Not impressively. From the fourth to the sixth week, the situation remained more or less the same. Blutforde didn’t give me the feeling that I had taken a strong medication. The changes were modest and came slowly.

Some days the readings were good, other days not. Poor sleep, salty food, and work stress affected them much more clearly than the capsule. This was the most real lesson for me with this product: a supplement doesn’t negate the impact of habits.

What I liked less

  • About an hour after taking the capsule, I occasionally experienced garlic burps.
  • During the first two weeks, I had mild bloating on a couple of evenings.
  • The bottle only contained 20 capsules, so one bottle wasn’t enough for a month.
  • Once, two capsules stuck together a bit in warm weather.

The bloating improved when I took the capsule with a proper breakfast. I didn’t have any pain or nausea, which made it tolerable. However, the garlic taste was quite unpleasant when taken with morning coffee. I can’t sugarcoat that.

I was also bothered by the fact that there were so few capsules in the bottle. I had to remember the date to start a new one, which isn’t hard, but it’s annoying. Although it’s a small thing, this detail stuck with me more than the promises on the packaging.

Who I think this is suitable for

I would recommend Blutforde more to someone who wants additional support from plant-based ingredients and is willing to monitor the effects calmly over several weeks. It may be suitable if the goal is to complement a reasonable diet, exercise, and regular blood pressure monitoring. I wouldn’t recommend it to someone expecting quick or strong results.

I would also refrain from taking it on my own if I were using blood-thinning medications, blood pressure medications, or if I had an allergy to any of the ingredients. Garlic and clove extract are not trivial ingredients for everyone. High or very fluctuating blood pressure requires proper assessment, not just a supplement. In such cases, I would consult a doctor first.

Would I buy this again?

Yes, probably for a longer trial period. But I wouldn’t continue taking it without comparing my measurements. The benefit for me was small but noticeable, the side effects were tolerable, and no miracles happened. At the same time, it helped me be more consistent with my measurements because the capsule also reminded me of the blood pressure diary.

My short assessment: Blutforde was an easy addition to my daily routine and may have helped to slightly even out the readings, but it didn’t replace treatment or healthy habits.
