Dietoll is a dietary supplement in the form of capsules to support weight loss and maintain normal body weight. I chose it mainly because I got stuck at a certain weight after winter and was troubled by constant hunger between meals. I wanted to mainly balance my cravings and evening raids on the fridge.
How I took it
The box contained sixty capsules and it was stated on the packaging that it is a product with plant extracts. I set my dosage simply: one capsule in the morning and one in the afternoon, usually with a large glass of water. When I took it on an empty stomach, I didn’t feel outright bad, but I felt my stomach more, so I moved it to after breakfast.
I took Dietoll for a total of six weeks. I had a small bowl on my kitchen counter where I poured the capsules because I kept forgetting about them in the box. Even so, I missed a few doses, especially on weekends when my routine fell apart. I read on the packaging that it mentions substances like L-carnitine, bitter orange extract, raspberry ketones, guggul, bromelain, and coenzyme Q10, and elsewhere also beta-sitosterol and organic synephrine. I wasn’t trying to be a chemist, but I wanted to at least know roughly what I was taking.
What I noticed about myself
In the first week, almost nothing happened. My weight didn’t change and my appetite was similar to before. The only thing I noticed was a slight warming sensation about half an hour after taking the capsule, especially after the afternoon one. It wasn’t unpleasant, just strange. I also had a few days with a dry mouth and drank more.
In the second week, the first practical change came. I stopped having such a strong craving for sweets after lunch. It wasn’t that I stopped liking chocolate, but the automatic need disappeared. This was important for me because I used to consume most of my calories between meals. I also felt that I was full sooner after a normal portion. It wasn’t dramatic, more of a subtle reduction.
In the third and fourth weeks, I noticed that I was better at sticking to my routine, even when my day was chaotic. Stress at work used to throw me off, and I would catch up with food in the evening. Here it was milder. It didn’t disappear completely, but I had more space to stop and tell myself that it was enough. My weight went down slowly, in small steps. It wasn’t a wow effect, but it was sustainable, and I see that as a plus.
In the fifth and sixth weeks, the changes were more about maintaining rather than increasing. I had a bit more energy, but it wasn’t like after coffee. I was just less foggy in the afternoon. At the same time, I noticed that when I took the capsule later, it was harder for me to fall asleep in the evening, so I set a limit that I wouldn’t take anything after four in the afternoon.
What bothered me
- Occasional mild heart palpitations after the afternoon capsule, especially on days when I also drank stronger coffee.
- Slight pressure in my stomach when I took it without food or too quickly after each other.
- Worse sleep onset when I moved the dose to a later time.
- The packaging and information were not in Czech, which I found unnecessarily impractical for a supplement.
It didn’t handle my lazy days. When I didn’t move and ate poorly, Dietoll didn’t save me. It also didn’t miraculously fix my digestion, even though some descriptions might lead one to expect that. For me, it was mainly about cravings and that I could better maintain a reasonable eating framework.
I perceived it as a dietary supplement, not as a medicine. Anyone expecting to quickly lose a lot of weight without changing their diet will be disappointed. And if someone is sensitive to stimulants, has a tendency to heart palpitations, or drinks a lot of coffee and energy drinks, I would be cautious. I had to keep a close eye on my caffeine intake, otherwise it wasn’t pleasant for me.
Who it might suit
For me, it makes sense mainly for someone who is already doing something but lacks a brake on cravings. If someone mainly struggles with evening snacking, it can be useful. It also suited me because it can be easily incorporated into a routine and doesn’t require complicated calculations.
After six weeks, I didn’t feel that the effect was still increasing. Rather, it was maintained at the same level. I would buy it again, but only during a time when I know I have stress and a tendency to cope with it through food. And I would still be cautious about combining it with caffeine or any health issues. For me, it was a subtle help with cravings, not a miraculous shortcut to weight loss.
