Delislim is a dietary supplement for weight control in the form of capsules. I tried it because I had gained a few pounds after winter, and what bothered me the most was the evening snacking. I wanted something to curb my appetite in the afternoon and evening.

For me, the product came in a bottle with capsules, and the capsules seemed standard and easy to swallow. They didn’t have an unpleasant smell, but if I took them without enough water, I could slightly taste them. For the first two days, I tried to take them before coffee, and my stomach reacted unpleasantly, so I later established a simple routine: breakfast, a glass of water, a capsule, and only then coffee. This helped me remember to take them, and I kept them near the tea box as a reminder.

How I took it and what I felt

I took it in the morning after breakfast. On an empty stomach, it made me feel a bit nauseous, so I didn’t insist on taking it earlier. The packaging stated that it was a formula for weight management and normal lipid metabolism, with natural extracts like guava and bitter orange. I’m not someone who gets impressed by slogans, but it was important for me to know that this is a dietary supplement, not a medicine.

During the first week, I didn’t notice much change on the scale. My appetite remained the same, and I still reached for sweets in the afternoon. However, I did experience a stranger effect on the third day. Around lunchtime, I felt a sharper energy, almost like after a stronger coffee. It wasn’t unpleasant, but it was sudden. Twice, I caught myself tapping my foot for no reason.

In the second week, I started to feel something more beneficial. Between lunch and dinner, I didn’t feel as “empty,” and my hunger became more manageable. Generally, around 4:30 PM, I tend to break down and look for something sweet, but then I managed to last until dinner with fruit or yogurt. For me, this was the real change. It didn’t make me disciplined, but it gave me a bit of breathing room.

The third week was the most meaningful, but only if I kept my food relatively under control. When I was active and didn’t overindulge, my stomach slightly shrank, and I felt lighter in the morning. When I allowed myself two consecutive evenings of dough and late snacking, Delislim didn’t “save” me. This annoyed me because one secretly hopes for a pill that compensates for everything, but that wasn’t the case for me.

By the end of the fourth week, I had one unpleasant moment. Once, I took the capsule earlier, then I was in a hurry and drank my coffee almost immediately afterward. I felt a slight heart palpitations and warmth in my face for about 20 minutes. It wasn’t scary, but it ruined my day. After that, I started leaving at least an hour between the capsule and coffee, and it didn’t happen again. I also experienced dry mouth on some days, so I drank more water, which at least is a healthy habit.

After the fifth and sixth weeks, the effect leveled off. My appetite was more stable, but it didn’t decrease further. The scale didn’t show dramatic changes, but the difference was more visible in my clothes. My belt fastened one hole tighter on better days. However, if I had a heavy and late dinner, the result remained the same.

I also noticed something else: if I took the capsule later in the day, I found it harder to fall asleep at night. So I kept it only for the morning. And honestly, this was more convenient for me because otherwise, the feeling of “tension” would come at inappropriate times.

  • slight acidity and heaviness if taken without food
  • nervous energy and foot tapping
  • one-time heart palpitations when I combined it with coffee too closely
  • dry mouth on some days

There’s also one minor downside for me. The packaging was in English, and I prefer everything to be clear and in Bulgarian, without guessing what it says. I understand that this happens with supplements, but it felt like an unnecessary complication for me.

As someone who has used it for several weeks, I would recommend it only if the main issue is intermittent snacking and if you are looking for light support for your appetite. Based on my experience, it can help when the afternoon slump pushes you towards sweets, as long as you don’t overdo it with caffeine. I don’t think it’s suitable if you are sensitive to stimulants, if you have a tendency towards heart palpitations, or if you expect results without any changes in diet. In case of health issues or if you are taking medications, I personally would discuss it with a doctor or pharmacist, because we are talking about an active formula.

Would I buy it again? Maybe yes, but only as a temporary aid during a period when I want to organize my eating and curb my appetite, not as something to rely on permanently. For me, Delislim provided moderate hunger control and a bit of energy, but it requires attention with coffee and doesn’t replace habits.
