I tried Retoxin as a supplement to support my liver and digestion at a time when I had irregular meals, several celebrations, and a few days on painkillers. What I wanted most was for my stomach not to feel so heavy after dinner and to reduce my bloated belly.

I took it for two months. Every day I swallowed one capsule twice a day with food, usually after breakfast and after dinner. I found it best to take it halfway through the meal and wash it down with plain water. I didn’t feel well after taking it with coffee, so I quickly stopped trying that. The capsules were white and easy for me to swallow, which was not a detail for me since larger capsules usually bother me.

During the first week, I hardly felt anything. I only noticed a slight herbal aftertaste after the morning capsule, especially when I took it with a small amount of water. It wasn’t strong, but sometimes it returned to me on the way to work. When I took it on an empty stomach, I felt a mild pressure in my stomach. This disappeared after eating, so I quickly got used to taking the dosage with food.

From the second week, I felt that digestion after richer meals was calmer. This didn’t mean I could eat anything without consequences. After pizza late at night, I was still bloated and didn’t feel light in the morning. I noticed the change mainly in my normal routine when I was eating more regularly and not overdoing it with alcohol. Around the third week, I also noticed that I didn’t experience such a slowdown after lunch. I wasn’t suddenly full of energy, but I wasn’t as sluggish.

After six weeks, I was better able to maintain my usual routine. Dinner weighed me down less, and I didn’t often have that unpleasant feeling of fullness in the morning. On the other hand, I would be dishonest if I attributed everything solely to the capsules. At the same time, I started cooking at home more often, frying less, and drinking more water. I believe this played a significant role.

The composition made more sense to me than vague promises about detoxifying the body. I noted glycyrrhizin, milk thistle, artichoke, and boldo, a blend aimed at supporting the liver and digestion. Still, I didn’t expect a miracle from it. The capsules didn’t solve my poor sleep, stress, or the weekend when I overindulged in food. I also didn’t notice any significant change in my metabolism or hormonal balance.

What bothered me the most during the use:

  • The morning capsule sometimes left my mouth feeling dry.
  • When I took it on an empty stomach, I felt mild pressure in my stomach.
  • I had to keep track of my regularity; otherwise, I would forget the evening dose.
  • The effect was neither quick nor noticeable.

That subtlety is probably the most accurate description of the whole experience. Retoxin didn’t feel like something you would notice immediately. Rather, after a few weeks, I felt that I was better able to maintain my routine and that I wasn’t so stiff and full after a regular meal. When I once took the capsule only after finishing my meal, the herbal aftertaste bothered me more than usual, so it really worked for me to take it with food, not after it.

I would recommend Retoxin to someone looking for gentle digestive support and willing to give it a few weeks. It makes sense to me after a period of irregular eating or heavier dinners, but only if one also adjusts what they eat. I wouldn’t consider it a substitute for medical examination in cases of stomach pain, yellowing of the skin, dark urine, long-term fatigue, or known liver issues. I would also be cautious with regular medication and long-term illnesses; there I would discuss the composition with a doctor or pharmacist.

If I had to summarize it very simply, Retoxin didn’t bring me any major turnaround, but it provided me with mild and slow support during a time when I needed it. I would only buy it again if I knew I could maintain a more reasonable routine and that I didn’t expect miracles from the supplement. For me, it is a subtle digestive support that worked best when taken with food, not instead of it.
