I tried Lovense Kraken because I wanted a compact, uncomplicated toy for solo use and a stronger sensation than my hand alone. It is a single-use masturbator egg with a soft TPE sleeve inside a firm outer shell, and I liked the idea of something discreet that did not need charging, buttons, or an app.

The format was the main reason I picked it up. It came with a lubricant sachet, and the egg itself felt small enough to keep out of sight in a drawer until I was ready. I used it at home during a relaxed evening, not as part of a long routine. The shell was useful for storage, but it was also a little awkward in the hand once I needed to change angles.

How I used it

I opened the case, added a little lubricant inside, then added more as I went. That was enough for one session, although I had to take my time spreading it around the inner texture. The sleeve felt very soft and almost jelly-like, and it stretched easily without feeling fragile. The outer tentacle-like detail gave me something to grip, which helped because the sleeve could slide if I did not hold it firmly.

The first minute was mild. I felt soft pressure more than anything intense, and the toy warmed up quickly in my hand. Once I found a better angle and used a bit more lubricant, the internal ridges became much more noticeable. That is where it started to work for me. The texture gave the session more variation than I get from my hand alone, with alternating tighter and looser moments that made me slow down a little.

I did not find it lifelike, and I did not expect it to be. To me, it felt like a soft textured sleeve with decent stretch, which was the right expectation for this kind of product. The material held warmth well, which I liked. It also made a faint squelchy sound once there was plenty of lubricant inside, and that broke the mood a bit in a quiet room. Putting a towel underneath helped with that and with the small amount of lubricant that escaped near the opening.

What stood out to me

The best part was the texture. It was more interesting than a plain sleeve and kept the sensation from feeling flat. I also liked the convenience. There was no setup, no charging, and no cleanup plan to worry about afterward because I treated it as disposable and threw it away after use. I did not want to try cleaning TPE thoroughly and keeping a single-use sleeve around.

  • The sleeve could slide if I did not keep a steady grip.
  • The included lubricant was useful but messy to open.
  • The textured interior may feel too strong for someone who prefers a gentler touch.
  • It created waste after one use, which bothered me more than I expected.
  • The hard shell was good for storage, but less comfortable than a larger reusable toy.

I would say Lovense Kraken suits someone who wants a discreet, low-effort toy for occasional use, travel, or trying different textures without buying a bigger device. It also makes sense if you like the idea of using something once and discarding it afterward. The six internal texture variations are the main appeal, even though I only experienced the one egg I used.

I would skip it if I wanted a reusable toy, minimal waste, a firmer grip, or more control over pressure. I would also be cautious if I had sensitive skin and was unsure how I reacted to TPE or lubricant. In that case, the materials matter more than forcing a product to work.

Would I buy Lovense Kraken again? Probably, but only as an occasional change. It gave me a more varied session than my hand alone, yet the disposable format, the slightly fiddly grip, and the mess kept it from becoming my regular choice.

Bottom line: Lovense Kraken was a simple, discreet textured sleeve that did its job for one session, but convenience came with waste and a little frustration.
