Deparax is a natural dietary supplement in the form of drops that I tried for long-term bloating, heaviness after meals, and the feeling that my digestion was only halfway working. I mainly wanted my stomach to stop behaving like a balloon in the evening.

I took it daily in the morning and evening, always before meals, and I managed to stick with it for at least thirty days. The bottle was made of dark glass, and the first few days the dropper annoyed me because sometimes it released only small drops and other times almost a stream. Eventually, I started dropping it into a spoon and then into a glass of water. The taste was quite herbal and bitter for me. When I tried it in warm water, it was even worse, so I stuck with cold.

In the first week, I felt almost nothing. That was a bit frustrating, but I expected that with this type of supplement. The bloating continued in the evening, and after heavier meals, I still felt pressure in the upper part of my stomach. In the second week, I noticed that my stool was more regular, even though I didn’t change my diet. It wasn’t a big drama. I rather stopped feeling stuck. Around the third week, I experienced what I bought it for: less gas and less evening bloating, especially after bread and meals with sauce.

The change wasn’t consistent. One day was better, the next weaker. When I remembered that I had skipped the evening dose, it made sense to me. This was a practical problem for me. I’m not the type to have a reminder in my head for supplements, and when I was out of the house, I preferred to leave the bottle at home because it felt impractical to carry it in my bag. Weekends at my parents’ were therefore weaker.

The packaging mentions support for normal stomach and liver function, and I noticed one small detail. After a heavy meal, I didn’t have such a heavy feeling under my right rib as before. It’s subjective, but it was pleasant for me. As for the “cleansing” of digestion, I perceived it more as a calmer stomach and less cramping feeling in the evening, not as something dramatic.

I don’t want to paint it too positively because it has its downsides.

  • The taste was bitter and herbal, and sometimes it lingered in my mouth even after water.
  • In the first few days, I experienced mild “cleansing” and more trips to the bathroom, not diarrhea.
  • The dropper dosed inaccurately until I found my own method.
  • On an empty stomach, it sometimes caused a slight scratching sensation in my stomach.

It didn’t solve everything for me. Heartburn after a greasy late meal remained the same, and during a stressful week, my stomach reacted despite the drops. So for me, it wasn’t a shield against everything, but rather support when I ate more sensibly and didn’t skip doses.

In my opinion, Deparax is more suitable for people dealing with bloating, uncomfortable feelings in the stomach, and irregularity who want to try a natural form of drops. It may also suit those who don’t like capsules. I would avoid it if someone expects quick results within two days or is sensitive to bitter herbs and easily feels nauseous. With serious or new digestive issues, I wouldn’t wait for a supplement and would address the cause with a doctor.

After the entire course, I felt lighter in my stomach, and the evening bloating decreased to a level that was manageable without unbuttoning my pants. It wasn’t a miracle. It was a shift. I would buy Deparax again, but only as a monthly support, not as something for constant use. It mainly helped me with bloating and regularity, but one should expect a bitter taste and that results come slowly.
