Oriton is a vitamin complex in capsules that I tried due to ear fatigue and slight ringing in the evenings after noisy days. I wanted something that would make this sensation less frequent and less intense. I wasn’t looking for an instant effect, but rather a small, noticeable change.

The package I had contained ten capsules. The box was small, in dark blue and yellow, and it stated that the product is aimed at supporting normal ear function and protecting cells from oxidative stress. What I found lacking was a clear detailed composition and a more explicit intake schedule. For this type of product, this is not a minor oversight for me.

How I took it

I took one capsule daily for ten days. I took it after breakfast with a glass of water. On an empty stomach, it left me with a slight metallic taste that lingered for about ten minutes, so I didn’t take any chances and always consumed it after a meal.

One day I took it after coffee, and it slightly irritated my stomach. It wasn’t anything severe, but it was enough for me to change my habit. After that, I only took it after a normal meal.

What I felt

For the first three to four days, I felt almost nothing. This didn’t disappoint me because I didn’t expect a vitamin complex to work instantly. By the end of the first week, the evening ringing seemed to become a little less intrusive. It didn’t disappear. There were just two evenings when I lay down and didn’t immediately listen for it.

I can’t honestly say that the effect was solely from Oriton. At the same time, I reduced my headphone use and avoided staying close to loud speakers for long periods. This likely helped at least as much. Still, I felt that after a calmer day, my ears felt less strained, and the capsules didn’t cause me serious discomfort.

My hearing didn’t improve dramatically. Sounds didn’t become clearer, and the ringing didn’t go away. It also didn’t help with the feeling of a blocked ear after a cold. For me, this is an important distinction because such a vitamin complex doesn’t address pain, suddenly reduced hearing, or strong and persistent ringing.

What I didn’t like

  • the metallic taste if I didn’t take it after a meal;
  • slight stomach irritation after coffee;
  • the small number of capsules in the box;
  • insufficiently clear information about the composition and intake.

It was precisely the last point that left me with the most questions. Ten capsules are few to form a reliable opinion about a longer effect. The box ran out just when I started to wonder if there was a real change. To be completely honest, this made me view the product more cautiously and with some skepticism.

I wouldn’t take it long-term without being able to easily check its contents and contraindications. The same applies if someone is taking other supplements or medications, has a chronic illness, is pregnant, or breastfeeding. In cases of active ear complaints that require examination, I would skip the supplement and first seek a doctor.

For me, Oriton is more of a short vitamin course as a supplement to better ear habits, rather than a solution in itself. It may be suitable for someone without a specific illness who wants a targeted supplement and is willing to protect their ears from noise, take breaks from headphones, and not expect miracles from a capsule.

I would recommend it cautiously. After ten days, the effect for me was mild, but not completely negligible. I would buy it again only if I received clearer information about the composition and intake beforehand. In its current form, my feeling is that it provided some relief from evening ear fatigue, but didn’t solve my main problem.

My conclusion: Oriton had a weak and moderate effect on me. I liked that it didn’t cause me serious discomfort, but I was irritated by the unclear composition and small packaging. For me, this is a supplement with a limited, carefully assessable effect, not a product for high expectations.
