I tried Lovense Gravity because I wanted a hands-free option that could work on its own and also let a partner take control from somewhere else. It is an app-controlled silicone thrusting vibrator with a removable suction cup and separate vibration controls. What I wanted most was steady thrusting that would not fade once I settled into a position.

I used it regularly for six weeks, usually once or twice a week. I treated the settings like a starting point rather than a dose. I began with low vibration and slow thrusting, then made small increases after I knew what felt comfortable. I also used plenty of water-based lubricant and charged it before the first use.

The rounded silicone head made insertion straightforward for me, and the surface felt smooth rather than sticky. That mattered more than I expected. The toy had some weight, though, so I noticed it right away when I held it in my hand instead of letting the suction cup do the work. The detachable suction cup was the feature that made Gravity feel different from a standard vibrator in my drawer.

How I used it

For the first week, I mostly tested the controls and angles. The physical buttons were fine for basic use, but the app was much easier once I wanted to adjust thrusting and vibration separately. I could keep the vibration low and build the thrust speed without cycling through preset patterns I did not want.

The suction cup held best on a smooth, hard surface. It stayed put on bathroom tiles and a low polished table. It was less dependable on anything textured. I made the mistake of attaching it to a painted wall once, and it held for only a few minutes before it dropped with a dull thump. That killed the mood fast.

The thrusting action had a short travel, about three centimetres by my estimate. That gave me a repetitive, direct sensation, but it did not replace the range of movement I get from my hand. What impressed me more was that the motor kept its rhythm under pressure. Some thrusting toys feel decent in the air and then bog down once they are actually being used. Gravity did not do that for me.

By the second week, I had settled on medium thrusting and low-to-medium vibration. The vibrations felt low and rumbly rather than buzzy. I felt them more internally than in my hand, which I liked. At maximum power, the toy became more insistent than pleasurable for me, and it also got louder.

By week three, I was using the app more than the buttons. Making a custom pattern took some patience, but it let me build a rise-and-pause rhythm instead of being stuck with constant movement. Bluetooth worked well within the room. I also tried the remote-control feature with my partner once, and the delay was not noticeable on our end. I liked that, but I still preferred agreeing on a comfortable intensity before starting. Sudden full-speed thrusting mostly made me tense.

What I liked and what annoyed me

Gravity delivered the main thing I bought it for: consistent automatic thrusting. It also asked for more setup than a simple vibrator.

  • The thrusting mechanism made a soft mechanical whir that was easy to hear in a quiet room.
  • The suction cup needed a genuinely smooth surface and a firm press before it felt trustworthy.
  • The body felt heavier than it looked, so holding it for long was tiring.
  • Cleaning around the joins near the base took more care than cleaning a plain silicone toy.

It was water-resistant enough for rinsing and cleaning, but I did not treat it casually in the shower. I removed the suction cup, washed the silicone with warm water and mild toy cleaner, then let it air-dry fully. The small gap around the detachable base was where water tended to linger. I ended up using a cotton bud as part of my clean-up routine, which was not glamorous but helped me avoid trapped moisture.

The battery lasted through several sessions for me, though stronger settings shortened that time. I got into the habit of topping it up after two or three uses instead of waiting for it to run low. The magnetic charger was simple enough, but I wished it gripped a little more firmly because it could be nudged loose if I left the toy near the edge of the bedside table.

Gravity did not fit every preference I have. The thrust depth was limited, and the fixed shape meant I sometimes had to adjust my own position to get the angle right. It also did not give me the close external stimulation I wanted without adding another toy or using my hand. Strong vibration alone was not enough to make it perfect for me.

I would suggest it for someone who likes internal vibration, enjoys a repetitive thrusting sensation, and has a smooth surface available for hands-free use. It also makes sense for couples who want app control and to share the controls at a distance. I would skip it if you need something very quiet, prefer a light toy, or want deep movement from the thrusting feature. I would also be careful if you do not want extra cleanup around the base or if strong noise would bother you.

I kept using it for six weeks because the steady thrusting and separate controls worked as promised. I would buy it again if I wanted that same mix of hands-free use and remote control. It is not the easiest toy I have owned, and it is not the quietest either, but for me it did the job I bought it for. If someone asked me whether it suits every user, I would say no, but I would still recommend it to the right person.

My take: Lovense Gravity was a powerful hands-free toy with useful app control, but it worked best once I accepted its weight, short thrust depth, and need for a proper surface.
