I tried HerSolution as a daily supplement for women who want support with sexual desire, arousal, and dryness. I was going through a stressful stretch and wanted my desire to come back without forcing it.

I took it for six weeks and used the two-a-day routine in the way that fit my day: one dose with breakfast and another after my evening meal. Food mattered for me. If I took it on an empty stomach, I got a warm, prickly flush across my cheeks and chest for about 15 minutes.

The formula I used included niacin, hops extract, Ginkgo biloba, Mucuna pruriens, Epimedium sagittatum, cayenne pepper, melatonin, and DHEA. I did not go in expecting a fast or dramatic change, so I kept notes every few days instead of trusting memory.

What I noticed over time

The first week was quiet apart from the flushing. I did not feel suddenly more interested in sex, and I did not get extra energy. One evening dose also made me a little sleepy, which fit with the melatonin, so I started taking that second dose earlier in the evening.

By the second week, I noticed a small change in how I thought about intimacy. I stopped brushing the idea aside so quickly when I was tired. That felt useful, even if it was not a huge wave of desire.

By week three, the clearest difference was arousal once I was already in the mood. I felt less dry and needed less time to relax into sex. Sensation seemed a bit stronger too. It was more of a gentle nudge than a switch being flipped.

The effect was not steady, and that was one of the biggest realities for me. A calm evening after decent sleep felt better. An anxious day still felt like an anxious day. HerSolution did not remove tiredness, stress, or the mental load of a busy week.

I also had two mornings with a mild headache around week four. I cannot prove it was the supplement, but the timing made me suspicious. I drank more water and made sure I ate before taking it, and the headaches did not come back.

What I liked and what annoyed me

The positives were real, but they were modest. I felt a gradual lift in arousal and comfort, and I appreciated that the changes showed up without me having to chase them.

The downsides were also real:

  • A short hot, prickly flush if I took it without food.
  • Slight sleepiness if I took the evening dose too late.
  • Two mild headaches during the first month.
  • A daily routine that was easy to forget twice.

Missing a dose did not seem to cause anything dramatic, but it reminded me that this was not a quick fix for date night. It only seemed to do anything when I took it consistently.

It also did not fix the reasons my desire had dropped in the first place. When I was overloaded at work, sleep-deprived, or irritated with my partner, the supplement did not solve that. I still needed rest, less late-night screen time, and actual conversations.

Who I think it suits

I would be cautious with HerSolution if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a hormone-related condition, or taking medicines that could interact with supplements. Because it includes DHEA and melatonin, I would want a pharmacist or clinician to check it first in those situations.

For me, it seemed best for someone whose desire had become muted through stress, tiredness, or routine, and who was willing to give it several weeks. I would not pick it if I reacted badly to niacin, disliked daily supplements, or needed something more dependable than a mild, uneven lift.

I would buy it again only in the same kind of situation I used it in: lower desire, some dryness, and a willingness to wait for gradual changes. I would not expect it to repair a difficult relationship or replace medical help for a sudden change in libido. My experience was a small but welcome improvement, with a few annoying side effects and no miracles.
