Eudalie is a regenerating face cream in a tube that I tried due to dry skin on my cheeks and fine lines around my mouth. I mainly wanted my skin not to feel tight during the day and not to sting so much after a shower.
I was intrigued by the ingredients on the packaging, which included sodium hyaluronate, collagen, colloidal silver, and caviar. It sounded a bit fancy, but I considered it more of a regular moisturizing treatment than something miraculous. The purple tube fit in my bathroom cabinet, and the dispensing was simple.
How I used it
I applied the cream in the morning after washing my face and in the evening after removing my makeup. I always squeezed out about a pea-sized amount, spread it between my fingers, and patted it onto my cheeks, forehead, and neck. I used less on my nose because my skin there got oily faster. I managed to use it almost every day for six weeks, only skipping two evening applications when I got home late.
The consistency was moderately thick. It wasn’t runny, but it spread well, and I didn’t have to pull on my skin while applying it. For the first minute, it left a slightly shiny film, then it mostly absorbed. In the morning, I waited about five minutes before applying other products because when I layered too quickly, I once got small clumps on my chin. That was quite a delay for me.
What changed for me
In the first week, I hardly noticed any difference. My skin felt nicer after applying it, but I had a similar feeling with a regular moisturizer. Around the second week, I noticed that my dry cheeks didn’t sting as much after showering. It wasn’t a dramatic change; I just felt less need to reach for another cream during the day.
By the third week, I began to notice a smoother surface of my skin around my mouth. The fine lines didn’t disappear; they just weren’t as pronounced when I was tired or hadn’t drunk enough. That was the most visible benefit for me. The skin on my cheeks looked less dull, and my makeup didn’t settle into dry patches as it did before.
At the same time, I didn’t get everything one might expect from the word regenerating. It didn’t change the deeper wrinkle between my eyebrows. It didn’t help with a small pigmentation spot near my temple either. When I got a pimple before my period, it didn’t heal faster, and I preferred not to apply it to the inflamed area.
What bothered me
- After applying it in the evening, I felt a slight sting near my nostrils a couple of times.
- If I applied too much, I felt my forehead was oilier in the morning.
- The cap of the tube got stuck with dried cream after a few days, and I had to wipe it.
The stinging always went away within a few minutes, and I didn’t break out. Still, I wouldn’t try it on irritated, scratched, or freshly treated skin without caution. The colloidal silver in the ingredients made me uncertain because I don’t want to automatically try everything that sounds medicinal on my skin. With cosmetics, I prefer to do a small test patch on my jaw first.
In my experience, Eudalie is mainly suitable for dry or normal skin when someone is looking for a comfortable cream for daily hydration and doesn’t expect immediate rejuvenation. It also works for someone who doesn’t mind a slightly richer feel after application. I would choose it more cautiously for very oily skin, especially in the morning. I would also skip it if I knew I was sensitive to any of the listed ingredients or if I had active skin irritation.
After six weeks, I continued to use the tube mainly in the evening. In warmer days, it felt a bit heavier in the morning, while at night it suited me well. I didn’t expect a miracle, and none happened, but the dry areas were calmer, and my skin felt softer to the touch. If I were looking for a thicker moisturizer for times when my skin is drying out, I would buy it again. However, I would still check the entire ingredient list before using it again, and if irritation persisted, I would consult a specialist about my skin condition.
For me, I consider it a decent cream for moisturizing and soothing dry areas, not as a product for significant wrinkles. It wasn’t enough for that.
